How To Prevent Melting Body Butters

How To Prevent Melting Body Butters

Our whipped body butters are a creamy whipped formula that you can use on your body as a moisturizer to prevent dry skin. Our body butters are infused with lots of butters and oil which tends to melt in really hot temperatures. If your body butter is melted, it doesn’t mean it is no longer good, It just isn’t in its normal whipped consistency. The benefits of our butters does not change. It is still considered one of the best body butters around. There are 3 things you can do to prevent your body butter from melting.

We use more protective packaging in the heat of summer, so most products do make their journey safely.

Unfortunately, melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over the conditions during transit or delivery. We have the same problem as companies who make and ship chocolates during summer months.

Open Your Package Right Away

If you ordered some body butter and it’s getting shipped, keep track of the day your body butter is supposed to arrive. As soon as it gets delivered, do not leave it out in the sun or in your mailbox. The sooner you get to your body butter, the better. If you leave your package out in the sun all day, it will melt! Take your package inside right away!

Refrigerate

If you see that your body butter has melted, refrigerate it right away. Let it sit in fridge for about 1 hour. Since the body butter was whipped before it melted, it may shrink down to half the size. This may seem like you only have a half container of butter, but trust me, it’s all there.

  • If you would like to re-whip your butter, scoop it out once it’s hard ( not too hard) and use an electric mixer to make it fluffy again. The air forms into the butter which makes it a whip consistency.

Storage

Store your whipped body butter into a cool, dry place and keep out of direct sunlight. You may keep your body butter refrigerated. If you accidentally forget your body butter in the sun, you can repeat this process.

YOU COULD ALSO PURCHASE OUR BODY CREAMS INSTEAD. THEY STAY THE SAME CONSISTENCY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!
